Frequently Asked Questions

What’s involved?

Filler is injected into the vagina lips (labia major), to provide a fuller and a youthful-looking vagina appearance.

What types of Filler are used?

At Bella Plastic Surgery we use only the highest quality to achieve long-lasting results. Filler is the common terminology for a group of products that are made to be injected in specific areas of the body to increase volume. There are many types of Fillers available but the most popular and effective fillers are based on hyaluronic acid. Filler is comprised of complex sugar molecules which are naturally-occurring within your body, and which bind with water to support your skin and increase volume.

What are the potential side effects?

Non-surgical vaginoplasty procedure is much safer than surgical intervention. There is no significant recovery time with non-surgical vaginoplasty, with most patients returning to work immediately. There is some moderate swelling, bruising and slight discomfort following treatment. Typically, the soreness is gone within a few days, swelling resolves within 7-10 days and bruising usually dissipates in a matter of days.

Does it hurt?

Local anaesthetic is administered at the site of four injection points which are used throughout the treatment, meaning that once local anaesthetic is administered, you will not feel any discomfort.
