Bella Plastic Surgery offers the Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty procedure that uses injectable gel-like products that contain hyaluronic acid, to ‘conceal’ the dorsal hump found on the bridge of the nose, elevate the nose tip, and make other adjustments to improve the appearance of the nasal contour.
Dr Eddy Dona has been a specialist plastic surgeon since 2007, and is a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons. From your first clinic visit, and throughout your surgical journey, Dr Dona and his team will be there to make it as smooth as possible.

We use only the highest quality of TGA approved hyaluronic acid based products to achieve long-lasting results. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring complex sugar molecules that bind with water to support your skin and increase volume in selected areas. At Bella Plastic Surgery, we prefer to use semi-permanent hyaluronic acid based products , which is a firm product, that is less likely to spread when injecting into the bridge of the nose – other softer hyaluronic aid based products, are more likely to spread at the time of injection. Semi-permanent hyaluronic aid based products are also designed to last much longer when compared to other, more softer hyaluronic aid based products.
Your improved nasal contour will typically last for 18 to 24 months.
You may experience some minor swelling and bruising on and around the treated area. Following your procedure, you can apply makeup 24 hours following your treatment, to conceal bruising and we will recommend the best types of make-up to use.
Every non-surgical procedure involves a certain amount of risk, and it is important that you understand these risks and the possible complications associated. The majority of patients do not experience the following, but you should discuss each possible risk with your physician to ensure that you understand the risks and can make an informed decision regarding your treatment.
Common side effects may occur immediately or maybe delayed and include but are not limited to the following:
Other adverse reactions may include:
Extremely rare but serious adverse events associated with intravascular injection of hyaluronic aid based products have been reported and include temporary and permanent visual impairment, blindness, cerebral ischemia or cerebral haemorrhage, leading to stroke, skin necrosis, and damage to underlying structures.
The following are very common side effects after treatment and should resolve with time.
